New Netball Rules – Starts Winter

All umpires are required and coaches are encouraged to join at Brisbane Netball Association for a short session around the changes to the international rules netball commencing in our winter 2016 season. It will also be a refresher of rules overall.

Foundation Coaching Course

If you are a new coach, aspiring coach or need a refresher on the foundations of coaching netball, Kedron Lions is keen on supporting you!

Normally costing $90, we will sponsor up to 10 coaches to complete the course, so get in fast

NEW U15 Performance Enrichment Squad (U15 PES)

Kedron Lions Netball Club is excited to announce the introduction of an innovative new program designed to engage our under 15 players and develop their skills and game play.

Participation in the Performance Enrichment Squad (PES) will be by invitation, with selection dependent upon attendance at the Senior Grading morning to be held on Sunday 23 February.

The KL U15 PES players will be mentored by higher achieving BNA Rep players from within Kedron Lions who will work on development of advanced skills, technique and game strategy, in preparation for progression into higher level participation.

This KL U15 PES program will include playing in the BNA Winter competition, weekly training, BNA Carnival participation, Inter-association Carnival participation and numerous specialist sessions throughout the season which will include a selection of the following:

  • Nutrition
  • Sports Psychology
  • Injury Prevention
  • Netball Qld accredited coaching sessions
  • Strength & Conditioning
  • Beach Sports
  • Nitro Boxing

Invitations will be issued to players in the last week of February.
